As you drive from Sligo to Donegal on the N15, north of Grange Village you will come upon a breathtaking view on your left of Dernish Island, Connors Island and Classiebawn Castle (Property of the late Lord Mountbatten) surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean which stretches out in the distance to St. John's Point and the Donegal Mountains.

 

Situated amid this picturesque scenery is the Armada Lodge Country Home which you can see from the main route. The house is just three-quarters of a kilometer from the N15 overlooking the sea.

It is situated in a tranquil and peaceful scenic location and is ideal for those wishing to escape from the pressures and stresses of today’s fast-moving lifestyle.

 

The emphasis is on quality accommodation and services, stress free walks and activities associated with nature i.e. Beach walking across miles of empty beaches, hill walking on Benbulbin, galloping on horseback across miles of sandy beach, cycling leisurely along country roads, relaxing sea angling at Mullaghmore and deep sea diving in crystal clear waters, Golfing on 4 seaside golf courses, boat trips on Lough Gill and to Innismurray Island or just relaxing in solitude in an armchair in a quiet corner of the house or on our balcony or garden.

The house has 3 apartments with wonderful views, overlooking the sea and overlooking the Benbulbin and Truskmore mountain range. All are tastefully decorated, have ensuite rooms with TV, Fully equipped kitchen. All sea facing rooms have a wonderful balcony/ conservatory area with comfortable rocking armchairs overlooking the sea which affords quiet tranquility after a long day touring. The lounge, Dining Areas offer comfortable ambience with emphasis on tranquil relaxation with provision for either solitude or mixing with fellow guests.
