The Armada Lodge is ideally situated as a base from which you can take a day tour South to Connemara, Galway and the Burren or a day heading North along the coast and mountains of Donegal, Glenveigh National Park, Donegal Castle, Dunlewey Lakeside center or onto Derry and the Giants Causeway.

Also in Sligo there are many wonderful local places of interest as illustrated here which you can tour by car, bus tour, boat trip, on horseback, bicycle or for the more energetic by foot.
